Meet Jasper, a 5-year-old black n tan Cocker Spaniel boy who deserves a loving home. He is a retired breeder dog looking forward to learning how to play and hang out with humans. He came here as a nervous, scared cocker boy with little to no love or attention from his owner. Now, he has made good progress and is doing a lot better. He is heartworm negative and is now neutered. When he finds his forever home his name must remain as Jasper.
He is crate trained and an easy-going dog that gets along well with the rescue dogs. He is still a bit nervous but warms up to you. A secure fenced yard is a must, and he will do best with other well socialized dogs that can be mentors. He can be with calm teen children but not with younger kids. He is doing well with leash training, but still might need house training and what is expected in new home. He is not aggressive, just a little scared and insecure. Please give him a chance to be loved, well cared for and have a great forever home. He is a very good boy and will be a wonderful companion for you to love.
His adoption fee is $400.
