Sakari was being given away for free in a parking lot in MS. 
Thank goodness she did not end up in the wrong hands .. a rescue friend picked her up to ensure her safety. 

Sakari is heartworm positive and tested positive for a tick borne illness called Ehrlichia. She is currently being treated and we will continue with her Vet care .

She is 35 pounds and approximately a year old.
