Leia, a super sweet and social treeing walker coonhound puppy of 8 months is looking for a forever family. Leia is about 45lbs, is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She has received initial obedience training, is giving you sign when she needs to be taken outside for potty needs, knows a few commands and fetches really well. She can be trusted to left alone at home. Leia has a playful outgoing personality and is very affectionate. She is fostered by a family with children and other dogs and is doing well with them but is a better fit for family with elder kids due to her size. Leia walks reasonably well on the leash that her trainer advises for her. As a coonhound she has strong hunting instincts, and a leash or fenced yard are advisable. She loves dog parks, long nature walks and is a great companion for active humans.
