My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marion and her sister Charlee are ready to find their forever home where they can run, play, and enjoy life!  Last year they were fearful as older kittens and preferred to hunker down in a cage when they were around people, but several of us at LCCR have worked with them in stages to acclimate them to home settings, and they are so happy!  They will undoubtedly be a little shy and scared when they go to their forever home, but their foster mom is presenting a recipe for success:

1. One quiet house
2. One nice and cozy room with soft bedding
3. At least one window with a view of birds and other critters.
4. A healthy dose of treats! Especially churus.
5. At least one feather toy, a ball track toy, and at least two spring toys.
6. Two weeks of love and patience.
7. At least one kind hand to provide scratches, pets, and belly rubs.

Mix the above and you will create two well-adjusted kitties who will give you lots of love and entertainment.  These two girls have wonderful personalities just lying underneath their initial reserved countenances and are waiting for someone to come along and give them a chance.  They are wonderful housemates and will reward you with headbutts and meows and lots of love.  Marion is a beautiful soft grey tabby with yellow eyes, and Charlee is a striking black and white tuxedo.  Charlee prefers to sit back and let Marion make the first move in new situations, which she is more than happy to do! They enjoy each other's company immensely and will frequently be found playing each other or batting toys back and forth.  When they are done playing they will lie near each other and take a nap.  They do get along with other kitties, but it might take a little bit to get them adjusted.  Come take a chance on them!

Marion and Charlee were born in the ides of March 2023 and are currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland.  Their joint adoption donation is $165 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), and spay.     If you would like more information on Marion & Charlee, please contact Ellyn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
