My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Onyx!
This handsome little dude is good with Cats and Dogs!
He hasnt met children yet while living in his foster home but his foster parents believe he would do well with them! He is described as a couch potato and loves to play with his dog sibilings!
`Onyx is about 1.7 years old, Kelpie mix. He loves playing tug-a-war with his person or another dog, likes to chase his toys and needs chew toys and bones to keep him busy...He loves soft toys too (loves pulling the stuffing out!) Onyx has lots of energy but can be a couch potato too. Loves to snuggle up with his person on the couch and in the bed. He gets along with other dogs and would do best with another playmate since he’s always had one. Was introduced to a cat and showed some interested but didn’t chase, with my presents he was fine, don’t know what would happen it he was alone so best to monitored at first. He likes chasing rabbits and squirrels, don’t know what he would do if he caught one! Although I have never had him around kids, I think he would do fine. Walks well on a leash and likes rides in a car or UTV, house boke and uses doggie door. Onyx has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia which leads to him limping now and then after play, joint supplements, fish oil, anti- inflammatory daily and pain meds when needed is what he is taking now and seems to work fairly well and should be a life time commitment, at some point possibly surgery.`
