My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luca is a gentle giant - weighing 150 lbs. He absolutely loves people and is very social and friendly. He is happiest laying down right next to his owners. We would really like to find him someone who will involve him in their daily life as much as possible - Luca just wants to be apart of the activities. This is the reason why we’ve made the hard decision to rehome him because with two young children, he is unfortunately left behind a lot now and it makes him sad. Luca is 8 and he needs someone who will spend lots of time with him for his remaining years.

Luca doesn’t need much exercise - just a short walk and a small game of tug each day will do. He can’t be in a home with small cat toys, socks, or anything similar laying around, because he will eat them. It’s very important that he lives in a home where things are generally kept picked up off the floors. He also does not do well with a lot of stairs so he needs to stay on the first floor somewhere with direct access to a yard.
