My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Precious earned her name when she came to our rescue pregnant and malnourished. This small girl was so sweet, eager to show how grateful she was to find a safe place to have her kittens that she was named Precious, and all her kittens were named for precious stones. Precious was a wonderful mom and raised her 5 kittens to be gentle and sweet just like herself. She has a lovely purr, is happy to be carried, will even reach up to hug you. While extremely affectionate Precious is not dominating or demanding, she will happily lounge in a sunspot on her own if you're busy.

Born 4/1/2021

Precious was found in River Oaks and taken in very pregnant and emaciated. She had 8 kittens, but only 5 survived. But they are now all happy and healthy kittens. Precious tested negative for FIV/FELV and is healthy now too.

More about this rescue

Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth rescues cats and kittens from local Fort Worth neighborhoods. We foster all of our animals in our homes, we do not have a physical location. All of our cats/kittens are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, socialized and loved in their foster homes and then adopted out to their furever homes.
