Meet beautiful Roxy, a pure-bred boxer, about 4-5 years old, weighs 62lbs, spayed, microchipped and current on all her vaccinations. This stunning girl is adoringly affectionate and gentle, moves with beautiful grace, enjoys being next to her humans and loves to give kisses and shake your hand. Roxy is currently in a foster home and has become BFF’s with the resident cat. They get along well, often rubbing against each other and sleeping near each other seeking companionship. Roxy walks well on the leash and does well with kids becoming their best friend and confidant very quickly. Roxy is looking for her forever home with a family that has dog experience and is willing to continue working with her during dog introductions. Her forever home should be willing to take the time needed for her to decompress and gain confidence around other dogs. Roxy has been in training learning appropriate social skills and making progress with her dog introductions. We are looking for experienced handler(s) to help bring Roxy to the next level of being comfortable and non-reactive around dogs. We do feel with the right direction and time, she could possibly befriend some dogs. If you are looking for a solo dog companion and other dogs are not a part of your routine, she could happily thrive with her human. Roxy is so incredibly respectful of things around her, has a calm demeanor but at the same time really likes to be a part of your life. Roxy is searching for her love connection in a home where she will, without a doubt, embrace the concept of family and unity.
