Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie is a 1 yr old, 66 lb., Golden Doodle. He is goofy and affectionate, housebroken, only chews on his own toys and bones as long as he has access to a variety. Except tissues..... he really loves Kleenex. Walks well on a leash. We adopted Charlie in April and he fit into our family right away. We adore him! Here is the dilemma. We also have a 16 yr old miniature dachshund. He and Charlie adjusted quickly with no issues after the first day of normal 'figuring each other out' process. Out of the blue the dachshund began aggressing toward Charlie every chance he got. The aggression has escalated to the point where one or both have to be kenneled 24/7. Our concern is that Charlie will inadvertently hurt the dachshund trying to protect himself and it's impossible to keep them separated all the time. Charlie has not shown aggression toward any other dogs, and only the dachsund when he's 'defending' himself. He's also great with kids.
