Introducing Winston, an irresistibly charming one-year-old West Highland White Terrier, weighing in at 18.5 pounds. With his delightful personality and charming antics, he is sure to win your heart!
Originally discovered by our local animal shelter wandering alone in the rain, Winston was in a dire state of neglect - terrified, starving, and infested with fleas. Unfortunately, his previous owner refused to reclaim him, and thus, The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF) stepped in to provide Winston with the much-needed care and love.
Now, after several weeks of nurturing care and attention, Winston is ready to embark on a new journey - to find his forever home. With a clean bill of health and a dapper new haircut, he's looking more handsome and vibrant than ever!
Winston is a loving, friendly, and intelligent little fellow with a zest for life that is infectious. He LOVES to give hugs! True to his Terrier spirit, he is alert and will bark at unfamiliar sights and sounds, but he readily settles down when he's with his caregivers. He enjoys the warmth of a loving embrace, relishes playful roughhousing with other dogs without a hint of aggression, and shows great fondness for his daily walks.
Not only is he a quick learner who knows commands like 'sit' and 'stay', but he's also making good progress with his potty training. The occasional accident still happens as he's adjusting from his former life of neglect and living outdoors.
We're seeking an active, patient, nurturing adopter - preferably one with experience raising Terriers. Winston can be easily startled by loud noises and chaos, and as such, we believe he would thrive best in a calm, serene home without energetic children.
Let's find Winston the loving home he truly deserves.
