My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Paige! This adorably sweet 2 year old spayed female dog was adopted from us as a puppy but brought back to our shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. This girl loves to please and we think she is going to make a wonderful adventure partner! Paige can be a bit shy when she first meets people but warms up quickly, especially for a yummy treat. Paige LOVES other dogs and would do well in a home with another canine companion. We think she should also do well in a home with kids but we are not sure about cats at this time.
Paige knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She can`t wait to find a home where she can go on fun hikes and explore the mountains. Come meet Paige!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
