Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you think this fun and goofy girl is a fit for your family, and you've considered the expenses of a giant breed dog, please fill out an application at https://brokenheartsrescue.wixsite.com/mysite/general-6-1 NOT AT ADOPT A PET.
MUST BE WITHIN 4HRS OF TWIN FALLS, IDAHO.
Sometimes, we will recommend professional training when adopting a certain dog out, both to help them, (AND YOU) learn how to best integrate that dog into your home. Training forms a bond and creates solid communication with you and your new family member.
Since coming back, Siri has completed professional training and received her Canine Good Citizenship. She now has a great foundation for her new family to build on. You don't happen upon a great dog. You become great with the dog.
Siri is a 1 1/2 year old, 100lb, Great Dane who has been spayed, double cherry eyes fixed, and had gastropexy surgery to prevent her stomach from flipping, which can be common in giant breeds.
She is 1000% goofy girl. Though she sounds tough with her deep bark, she is more likely to tuck tail and hide behind you if something is scary. In fact, her recent trip to the vet had her sitting on her foster mom's lap while getting her vaccines. 🤣 Water from a hose is so fun, until the hose turns on her, then it's a mad dash to run away, tripping over her feet as she goes.
Siri loves car rides and hopes her new family will take her on many adventures. A lot of experiences are very new to her, but she wants to be by your side doing it together.
Siri is a little bit of a drama queen if she wants to do something, like go for a walk and you tell her no. Like every child, she tends to voice her opinion on why life is not fair. I swear she knows what you are saying, and you can almost understand her side of the argument.
Siri will need a family committed to keeping up with her training. She is so much better with her new skills and her family needs to know how to help her continue to be the best girl she can be.
Her adoption fee is $300 to help cover her medical and training.

We require all adopters to fill out our application to help determine if the dog/cat they are interested in will be a good fit.
2.
Meet the Pet
We require all people and dogs at the home to meet the dog they are wanting to adopt.
3.
Home Check
We do a home visit to talk to the family about the particular dog. We look to see where the dog will live and its a safe environment.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
We do an adoption contract once other steps have been approved. To transfer ownership of animal. Gives requirements on treatment of animals.
Additional adoption info
Our contract requires that the animal comes back to us if it does not work out, it requires the adopter to keep up on the medical and general care and health of the dog/cat.

We are a small non-profit 501(c)3 rescue located in Twin Falls, Idaho. We have been involved in rescue for 10+ years.
The need for animal rescue is great everywhere as anyone involved with rescue will tell you. The shelters are over crowded and the dogs and cats continue to poor in on a daily basis. We work with local and surrounding area shelters to help with the overcrowding, special needs, senior and unsocial animals that do not have a good chance at adoption in a shelter setting. We take some owner surrenders if we have a foster available and depending on the situation. Our priority is furkids at risk of euthanasia or needing special care.
