Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emma is a beautiful, playful, energetic lady around a year and a half old. She is a very affectionate and sweet gal. She loves playing with other dogs and running in a fenced yard. She is one fast pup! She is pretty good with the cats; only occassionaly wants to bark or chase them.
Though a little hesitant to get in, Emma rides great in the car once she gets there! She is very outgoing with new people and charms everyone she meets! Her favorite game to play with the other dogs is tug. She loves rope toys and is pretty good at un-stuffing frozen Kongs! This typical, goofy coon-lady can frequently be found rolling around on her back - sometimes with a rope toy, other times, without! She does great in her crate and sits before exiting. She sleeps loose in our home and is very well behaved.
She will make a great family companion and would enjoy a family that would give her something to do such as walking, jogging, hiking, etc as coonhounds have a lot of stamina. She would love another dog companion to play with!
Emma came to rescue at the end of January, emaciated. She has put weight on very well. She was found as stray. She is around 21-22 inches high at her shoulders and weighs around 45 lbs.
Crate trained and housebroken, Emma would be an easy first time foster dog! Interested in fostering her? Fill out the adoption application and indicate you'd like to foster!
