Story of Rue~
Rue and her brother Lou (or Louie) were born on 6/15/2023 to a young mama rescued during a TNR project in Queens.

Rue is loving and shy. Yet when she’s comfortable with you, she will come sit next to you looking for pets and belly rubs. Lou is adventurous and loves to play. He has a paternal instinct and loves kittens. Both are playful, sweet, love human companionship.

Rue and Lou are fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, spayed/neutered and ready for their forever home.

We would love for Rue and Lou to be adopted together but they can be adopted separately to a home already has a cat. Rue will do best in a home with an older calm cat due to her shy personality while Lou needs a young cat or a kitten to play with. A complete application, a vet reference and a home check are required. Meet and greets are available but you must be pre-approved.

More about this rescue

We rescue abandoned, injured and sick community cats. We provide them with medical care and those cats/kittens who require socialization go through our foster program. We focus on placing cats in suitable and loving homes. We spay/neuter and vet all cats prior to adoption.
