Santa came early to SAFE Animals! Sheila, who has been patiently waiting in foster care for over a year, is hoping to find her forever home this holiday season. For the month of December, her adoption fee is reduced to just $150. Let’s make his holiday wish come true!
Sheila`s journey began with a heartbreaking start—abandoned while pregnant, she gave birth to seven precious puppies in foster care. Despite her difficult past, she has proven to be an exceptional mother and an incredibly sweet dog. While she can be a bit timid and tends to shake when approached quickly or picked up, she quickly warms up when treats are involved, eagerly accepting them from your hand.
Sheila gets along well with other dogs and is meticulous about keeping her living space clean. She enjoys the freedom of coming and going through doggie doors, exploring the outdoors at her own pace.
What Sheila needs most is a kind and patient companion who can help her build confidence and learn to trust human touch. With time, love, and gentle guidance, Sheila will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion who will fill your heart with joy.
Note: Sheila has a condition where she shakes non-stop. She is not in pain or scared - this is just how she knows life.
