Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Balto! He is a young Husky with beautiful markings. He is full of energy and would be great for anyone with an active life-style. Balto was found very underweight, dirty, and emaciated in a parking lot on a hot day. Although it takes him a few days to warm up to you, once he does he is very loyal and sweet. Like most Huskies, at his young age, he needs someone willing to be the leader of the pack (Huskies will test their limits but they are very intelligent and loyal) He has been with his fosters who found him for only a week and has learned the command of sit. He plays fetch and loves to run. He has adapted to crate training quite well (he loves music and it keeps him calm and happy) He is learning how to walk on lead and his foster family is working with him on the commands stay, come, and lay down. He does not show any aggression towards our small dog (our small dog is the aggressive one so we keep them apart) so would likely be good with dogs. He would do best in a home without small children as he is still very young and prone to jumping (he is a quick learner though!) He would be best in a home without cats. If you are someone that often goes hiking: this sweet boy is for you! He also does well in the car. He is very good in a crate and he does not chew up his bed or his toys. He is not food aggressive (although very food motivated haha).
He loves his fuzzy kong bear that he tosses into the air and catches in his mouth. When you sqeek it and say sit he will sit then wait for you to throw it. Fetch seems to be his favorite activity. Interested? Call Eleanor at: 510-508-6014 or email: allmytomorrows57@gmail.com.
