My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kitty Name: (Only one kitty at a time) Woodchip (Chippy)
MRQ#: F5-23-4
DOB: (mm/dd/yy) 3/24/23
Gender:
o Male
Breed: DSH
Color: tabby w/ white
Woodchip or Chippy is a sweet, mellow yet playful boy. He enjoys pets and head
scratches. He loves people and often rubs up against your leg, follows you around and
snuggles next to you in bed. He is not as mischievous as most kittens and he doesn’t
meow very much. He doesn’t mind being picked up and held but not for long periods of
time. He would not do well alone as a single kitty or with someone who is gone daily for
long periods of time. He is very good at settling down for the night and isn’t bothersome
during the night. He is very bonded to his brother and when they are separated, they
will cry incessantly for the other one. For this reason, Woodchip needs to be adopted
together with his brother Snickers. Woodchip needs lots of play toys and structures such
as cat trees, scratchers, chase toys and loves it when we use wand toys to play with
him. He is a very calm, inquisitive, loving kitty. Woodchip is afraid of dogs and wouldn’t
do well in a home with dogs unless it is an older or very mellow dog that doesn’t bark
that much.

More about this rescue

We are a kitten rescue. We take in bottle babies, orphan kittens under the age of 8 weeks, pregnant and nursing mama cats.

We get these kitties from private parties who have found them ----from shelters where they are in danger of being put down and from people who can no longer care for their pets. We put them in fosters homes and care for them until good homes can be found.
