Meet Toby, a dog with a heart as big as his personality. He`s an adult who`s seen a bit of life and is now ready for his forever home. Toby is a sweet soul, albeit a little shy. He`s the kind of dog who likes to take his time getting to know you, to understand your quirks and rhythms. He`s selective with his canine companions, preferring to befriend those who respect his boundaries. Toby isn`t a dog who will instantly jump into your lap, but give him time, patience, and love, and he`ll reward you with a bond that`s unbreakable. More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
