Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wiley’s former owner did everything he could to find a place for his best friend. They were being evicted and has no where to go. He called rescues in the area but all were full. He was turned away again and again. Finally his owner arrived at a vet, prepared to do the unthinkable— humanely euthanize his beloved companion. The vet’s office gave him our number. We heard the trembling of his voice— the fear, sadness and despair. Wiley became a SCARR dog. He’s in foster now, learning new things, being socialized with doggie friends and being checked in on with calls and texts from his former owner who’s just so thankful that he’s alive. He’s a fearful pup at first but once he warms up, he will never leave your side. In fact, we had a hard time finding photos of Wiley’s full body because he’s always right in his foster mama’s view, looking up at her with that big smile or soft loving eyes. He’s the most people-oriented dog we know. Yes, he likes other dogs and enjoys their company but he really just wants to be by his human’s side. He’s going to make his forever family feel very very loved.
