It doesn’t matter, I’ll be your best friend! I am a lover to the core. I’m a happy girl when I can lay on your lap or by your side for a cuddle session. If you are busy, I would love cuddling up with any pets you have. I love playing with my furry foster brother. We like running in the grass and sharing chew toys.
My foster mom calls me Dixie Cup, Tea Cup, Piggy, and Pickle, but Shadow might be more accurate. I love staying right by your side and enjoying the day together. I will go wherever you want to go. Car ride, lawn work, or movie night, I’ll be happy to be by your side. I will turn anyone in to a dog person because I am just that sweet. I am cute, silly, and loving so you just have to come meet me!
I am super smart and know where I am and am not allowed to go potty. I sleep all through the night in my kennel. If you let me, I would snuggle you all night. I am very trusting so if you want to trim my nails, give me a bath, or brush my teeth, I really won’t mind. My foster mom even likes cuddling me up in doggy sweatshirts and I am happy as a clam to hang out in it. Speaking of baths, I never say no to water sports! Give me a hose, a sprinkler, or a puppy pool and I’ll splash around like a fish. Once I have burned off some energy, I usually find a napping spot to spend the rest of the day. Like I said, I’m super smart. I respect the rules expected from me and only sleep where I have permission. I know I am not allowed on the living room couch, and I don’t even need reminded anymore, I simply go to the office couch I am allowed on.
I love to please! “Sit,” “Wait,” “Paw,” “Up,” “Go Potty,” “Go to the Office,” “Kennel,” “Lay Down,” and “Come” are all super easy. I am still working on “Off,” but I’m nearly great at it. Training with treats is my favorite because I’m very food motivated, so I will pick up all your new words fast.
