Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Roxy, in Milton, DE!
Roxy is a 1 ½ yr old, approximately 35-40lb, shy but sweet, energetic, happy little girl who has a lot of love to give. She will be your shadow and only wants to please and snuggle with you. She is timid with strangers and men at first, but quickly warms up to everyone.
Roxy is an active girl who still thinks she is a puppy. She loves to play with her foster female dogs but would also get along with males. She has also made friends with the foster cat.
Roxy would do well in a fenced back yard and would love a doggy playmate! She is house trained, and crate trained. She gets a little anxious when her foster mom leaves but does well in her crate.
Roxy walks well on a leash but would love more opportunities to get out and explore. Although there are no children in her foster home, she could easily love them too. She came to ASF with 2 other aussies that were surrendered. Both dogs are great with children, and we have no doubt that Roxy is as well.
Roy is scheduled to be spayed on 8/1. She is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She did test positive for Lyme and is being treated with antibiotics even though she has no visible symptoms.
This little girl has a heart of gold and would love to find her furever home! Will you be her best friend, cuddle buddy and partner in all things? Roy is being fostered in Milton, Delaware.
If Roxy sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application:
There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
