Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is a cute Morkie boy weighing 13 pounds. He is 1 year and 8 months old and is being fostered in Vestavia Hills, AL. Cooper must be adopted within 100 miles of his foster home.
Cooper has had his final round of vaccinations and is NOW READY to be adopted!! He came to UYR as an owner surrender because his owner was working long hours. This sweet boy is 1 year 8 months old and loves to play, go for rides, and take walks. He has thrived having his foster sibling pups to play with so he would make a great companion for another playful dog.
He has the sweetest face and the best personality. Although he did have a few potty accidents when he first moved into his foster home, he is house-trained. Cooper did show signs of separation anxiety but this has greatly improved with training and having another dog in his life.
Cooper loves to go for walks. He would do best with an active family. He does pull a bit on his leash but is showing improvements with this habit. He loves running and roaming in his foster parents' backyard so a fenced-in yard is highly preferred. He loves playing with toys such as stuffed animals, balls, and nyla bones. Cooper is also good at resting. He loves his naps.....don't we all?
Because of his previous anxiety issues, which appeared to have been stemmed for being left alone for extended periods of time, his ideal home would include at least one stay-at-home or work-from-home parent.
Cooper sleeps at the end of his foster parents' bed and is a great sleeper. He rarely gets on furniture unless called and would be content laying on the couch beside you or laying on the floor beside you. He is a happy boy.
To be successful, Cooper would do best with these things:
- stay-at-home/work-from-home parent
- active family
- dog sibling
- fenced in yard
