Meet Ishmeal. This boy came to Wags and Whiskers, with his little companion Ladybug; both of these young dogs have been through some shtuff, and were absolutely traumatized of humans and human interaction upon arrival. Over Ishmeal's time with us, so far, he is slowly starting to gain the tiniest bit of trust in staff members, and has started being brave enough to come up to smell the tips of their fingers. Ishmeal is on the lookout for a quiet home that will give him time and space to adjust to his new surroundings and family, and show him that not all humans are out to hurt him. Step 2: FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
Fill out an application at wagsandwhiskerspetrescue.com and
call to schedule an appointment 530-895-8888

Step 3: APPROVAL, PAYMENT, & PICKUP
Your new family member can be picked up if you're approved and the animal is spayed or neutered. Payment of the adoption fee is required to reserve the pet. Adoption fees vary for each dog, puppy, cat and kitten.

Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit all breed, NO KILL, animal rescue organization, incorporated in August 2015. We are a primarily volunteer driven group with a number years experience with animals and rescue. Our mission is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and rehome, abandoned, abused and unwanted animals in Willows and Chico, California.

We rescue animals at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We are committed to helping the most needy, as well as the readily adoptable.
