Are you a dog lover? If so, I have the perfect dog for you - Ms. Malibu, an Australian Kelpie Shepherd mix born on February 14, 2023. She was neglected (too small of a collar, she grew around it and we needed to have it surgically removed) and abandoned by her previous owners but was rescued by a good Samaritan She needs a home where she can be spoiled and loved. Malibu does very well in all settings. A few of us have taken her to very public events with 100's of people and she does wonderful with kids, adults and other dogs. This sweet gal deserves a loving and caring home. A fenced yard is ideal for play and exploration. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Additional adoption info
Tour/Adoption Hours:
Fridays: 3pm – 5pm
Saturdays: 11am – 2pm
During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
