Magenta!
Magenta is another of the dachshund type mix dogs that came to us after they were seized by humane law enforcement from a home with 140+ dogs.

Despite her very humble beginnings Magenta is doing really well in our care and coming out of her shell and showing much of her silly side. It is wonderful to see! She was originally estimated to be about 3 years old, although we think she may be a bit younger. As with most of the dogs in the home she has some thinning hair, likely due to a combination of flea infestation (which has been treated, no more tiny friends!) and poor diet. She is already looking and feeling so much better, but we expect it may take a few months for everything to fully grow back in.

Magenta does well with other friendly dogs, or she could be your one and only. We do know there were several cats and birds in the home they came from, we just aren't sure how much interaction they had. As such we could cat test her for any approved applicants with cats, just to be on the safe side.

Magenta is used to sleeping in a crate and is working on going for walks. She will need work on housebreaking, basic manners and more socialization as she continues to get more comfortable and confident every day.

Magenta's adoption fee includes her spay and heartworm testing as well as vaccinations to date and microchipping. She is also up to date on preventatives.
