My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE

Pandora was rescued from Garden Grove Park on September 2, 2022 along with four other dumped rabbits. She was very pregnant and on September 6, 2022 she gave birth to five baby bunnies.

Pandora is a rex mix rabbit. She does have red eyes and the typical scanning behavior that accompanies REW rabbits. Don't be afraid of REW rabbits; they are the most gentle, docile, overlooked rabbits and it is so unnecessary.

Pandora was adored by her foster family while she raised her babies; they wished they could keep her forever as they fell hard for her. She is sweet, calm and trusting despite being dumped.

Her estimated date of birth is spring of 2022. She was spayed on July 8, 2023.

Pandora would do well in an exercise pen as her home base with additional romping time in specified areas of the home. Free roaming is always an option too! A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Pandora can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
