My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hershey is a 2 year old, 36 lb girl. She is an affectionate, playful young pup. She enjoys running in the fenced yard, playing with toys and receiving lots of love. She loves to give kisses and snuggle.

She is excellent for grooming and bathing and will require professional grooming every 6 weeks as well as regular brushing and combing at home. Hershey has a very thick coat with tight curls that will matt easily if not cared for properly. Her adoptive family should be prepared to spend approximately $125 per grooming session. She is toy possessive at times with other dogs but her foster mom has been working with her and she responds well to correction. She is very smart and easily trained.

Hershey is crate trained but will bark in the kennel when left alone. For this reason, she is not suitable for an apartment or condo. She enjoys sleeping in her foster mom’s bedroom. She is house-trained in her foster home and uses a doggie door. She gets along well with the other dogs. Her future family will be blessed with a wonderful loving companion.
