Poseidon is a handsome and slightly anxious boy who is technically ready to find his person. The catch? His future adopter should be a cat savvy and overall patient individual that can accept a nervous personality while also pushing to help them get comfortable with more human interaction.

Poisedon LOVES to play chase with his brother Neptune. While he is typically an independent soul when humans are around, he loves his brother and other cats in general. He also enjoys cat tv, a scratcher bed, catnip, a wand toy, and of course cuddling with his bro. He also is a big foodie and has been caught chewing through bags to see if there’s any good leftovers. This handsome boy is also particular about his preference for being pet – back only! Ear, chin, or cheek scratches are a little too intimate for him.

Because of his nervous nature we think Poseidon would do best in a home with another confident cat around to show him that life isn’t as scary as he thinks. Poseidon is cute and playful, though maybe not the most affectionate. When he does let you pet him, it is very rewarding. With the right adopter, we know he will do well.
