Meet Blaze! Blaze is a handsome 1-year-old (4/22/22) pittie mix that first came to the shelter as a stray several months ago. He has done well with all dogs, cats, and people he has met, and is just an absolute love bug! He’s around 65lbs, and is a very laid-back, mellow guy who loves to army crawl towards you with the cutest wiggles, and all he really wants is a person to call his own.

Blaze is currently undergoing a decompression period in his foster home to learn what it means to be a beloved family pet again. After living in a shelter for so long, it takes time to start to feel like a dog again! So far, Blaze has been an absolute gentle giant, and is such a laid back and relaxed boy. He is currently learning what it means to be a house dog, as prior to the shelter, he was a mostly outdoor dog. So far, he is absolutely loving lounging inside, and is such a mellow boy for only being a year old!
