Sweet Macie Mae was surrendered to our rescue as her family didn’t feel they had the time or schedule to devote to her.

She is approximately 8 months old and lives with 5 other dogs of various sizes and ages. Macie is an adorable poodle mix who needs a regular schedule and patience to work with her sensitive nature. She is sweet and very playful with other dogs and would love a friendly companion to play with. She sleeps through the night and doesn’t make a peep in her crate.

She needs more regular socializing to blossom outside of the home, but in her home she is affectionate and loyal. She would benefit from regular potty breaks and attention during the day as she is still a puppy. She is smart and eager to be loved. She requires a physical fence for her safety, as she is just beginning leash training. No exceptions will be made to the fence policy.

Macie loves to splash in the baby pool and has the cutest, clumsiest zoomies around the yard. She takes treats gently and is very submissive to other dogs. After only a day in her foster home, she was seeking affection, wagging her tail, and galloping up to greet her new temporary family. She still spooks at quick movements, but even that has lessened fairly quickly. She is currently only crated at night and gets regular potty and play breaks through the day and is thriving. She has had no accidents in her time in foster.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
