**I qualify for the HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS NAME YOUR OWN ADOPTION FEE SPECIAL through the end of the year!**
WEIGHT: 40lbs
This is Cayuga. Describes herself as a ball-loving water girl with a taste for treats.
She`s also a 1.5 year-old 40-pound mixed mutt looking for a home. Cayuga came to us as little tyke with all her brothers and sisters, some time ago. She spent nearly a year in a home, but as she grew out of her puppy phase and entered into her #growngirlera, she decided (on several occasions) that living in a home with another dog was not for her.
Her truth was too real to deny, so now she is looking for a home where she can be the one and only. Her previous person described her as `the most loving ‘velcro-dog`` who is happy to pass the day on the couch lazing around.`
That said, we have found her to very much enjoy activity, especially fetch. The way to this dog`s heart is through a neon yellow ball. She also adores being in the water, and never passes up the chance to jump into our doggy pool to play around.
Cayuga is house-trained, walks nicely on-leash, rides well in the car, and knows some basic commands like: sit, stay, down, and shake. She can be a bit shy around new people but it doesn`t take long for her love and affection to come out full force.
We`d love to tell you more about this gorgeous girl. Submit an adopter`s profile online or stop in during Browsing Hours: Wed-Sun 11-5.
