Melvin - the dog, the myth, the legend! We`ve got him and YOU can adopt him! Melvin is a slightly shy but fun-filled dog who`s just itching for a good time in a new home of his own. He`s got looks like none other, he enjoys going for walks and is easy to handle while on leash, and he`s even done well with the other dogs here at the shelter, though he firmly insists on no kitties! If you`ve got a pup at home already, bring `em along to meet this magical mutt. Melvin enjoys treats and is so gentle when taking them from your hand. He`ll place his head in your lap to let you know that he`d be happy for a kind word, a tasty treat, or, best yet, gentle pets and scritches.
Melvin is a hidden gem here at the shelter, and once you`ve had the chance to get to know him, you`ll think so too. He`s eager to meet you today, so come on in!
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
