Are you looking for a cuddle bunny who doubles as a protector?  Meet Lucy.  You'll love Lucy, just as we love Lucy. Lucy loves cuddling, and going on long walks.  If you're a runner, she'll be happy to accompany you. Lucy is a dogs - dog, but also would enjoy having her person all to herself. She is about 2 years old and is currently living in foster care.
She only barks when she hears something that sounds like an intruder and she sleeps all through the night, snuggled up right beside you! She may sit on the floor next to you while you eat, but she has great manners and dignity so she doesn't beg. She is smart, loyal, and very affectionate. She is completely housebroken and walks very well on a leash. She is very dog friendly, she just takes a minute to warm up to new people. Young kids tend to be too loud for her and startle her.  Lucy loves leisurely walks in the neighborhood, playing fetch with her frisbee, tug-of-war with her foster mom, and snuggling in front of the tv at night with her foster family. Above all Lucy loves togetherness, but would do best with someone who is patient and ideally experienced with young dogs. She'd do especially well with those who understand she is re-learning that the world is fun and people are kind.  She will need a family who can give her consistent, patient, and ongoing positive reinforcement training so she is set up to be the very best dog. The more time you put into Lucy, the more she gives back!
