My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lolo is current in Puerto Rico and will be flying to NY on July 29th and would love to meet her forever family at the airport!

Introducing our charming little Chihuahua mix, who has been through quite a journey - meet our adorable 12-pound, 3 to 4-year-old male companion. Despite his shy nature, he is longing for a patient and loving home where he can finally feel safe and secure. Rescued from a hoarding situation in Puerto Rico, where he endured cramped living conditions alongside over 100 other dogs, he is now ready to embark on a new chapter of his life.

This sweet boy has a heart as big as his ordeal, and his resilience shines through his timid demeanor. Although it may take time for him to build trust, patience and understanding will be key in helping him blossom into the confident and affectionate companion he is meant to be. Once he feels comfortable, his loyalty and love will know no bounds.

One of his most endearing qualities is his ability to get along effortlessly with other dogs. He thrives in the presence of his furry friends, finding solace and companionship in their company. If you already have a canine companion at home, this little guy will undoubtedly be a perfect match. Additionally, his calm and gentle nature allows him to coexist harmoniously with cats, making him a great addition to feline-friendly households.

With a history of living in confined spaces, our Chihuahua mix has learned to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. He finds joy in leisurely walks, sniffing around the neighborhood, and curling up in a cozy bed with a soft blanket. A tranquil environment where he can feel safe and secure will be essential for his continued emotional healing.

We are seeking a special home for this special boy - one that understands the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle guidance. A family or individual who can provide a calm and nurturing environment will enable him to flourish at his own pace. While children may be too overwhelming for him, a peaceful adult household would be the ideal match.

If you are ready to open your heart and home to this resilient little soul, please consider adopting him. Together, you can provide him with the love and security he has been deprived of for far too long. Please fill out an application here to apply for this shy, yet incredibly deserving Chihuahua mix, and let us witness the transformation of a survivor into a cherished family member.
