My story

Atlantic currently in Puerto Rico and will be flying to NY on July 29th.

Atlantic is a chihuahua mixed breed dog, with soft brown fur and big, soulful eyes. She is extremely timid around new people and new situations. We are working with her everyday in hopes that she will start to trust us.

Atlantic’s previous situation was not ideal, and it has left her with some scars. Atlantic was rescued from a hoarding situation in Puerto Rico. She spent her life in a tiny cage filled with other dogs. She will be shy at first and will take some time to adjust to new surroundings. However, with patience and love, her true personality will shine through. Atlantic needs someone who will be patient with her and give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable.

Atlantic would do best in a quiet, calm home with a patient and understanding owner. Luna gets along well with other dogs. Another confident dog will help her learn how to live in a home.

If you are looking for a helping a shy dog learn to trust, please consider adopting Atlantic. She may be shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she will be your constant companion and faithful friend.

Atlantic is estimated to be 7-8 years old and weighs 7lbs. She will be fully vetted, vaccinated and neutered. She is flying to NY at the end of July. Please fill out an application here to learn more about him-
