Seamus (pronounced SHAYmus) is an 11-year-old ginger tabby who is  the most lovable lad you will EVER meet. He insists himself upon you,  wrapping around your neck like a stole and nuzzling his face against  yours. This is not to say he can't curl up on his own, but he much  prefers to cuddle with you. He will make the right person so very  happy and will enrich their life. He truly doesn't have a mean bone in  his body.

His nicknames are "Seamus O'Malley of the Alley" (spoken in a thick   Irish brogue, preferably),  "Shamooligan, you hooligan", "Shamu" (like  the whale, who was just slightly bigger than this feline), "Shaymoosy"   (again, a nod to his girth), among others.

Seamus must be an indoor cat due to having been declawed by a previous  pet parent.  He may do best as an only pet, despite being neutered and  being well-behaved and sweet with other animals, as he has sprayed to  mark his territory in a house that had another cat and a dog. Aside  from this, he uses the litter box faithfully. He eats like a champ.  He's just the biggest baby who wants nothing more than to love on you
and then some.

His human family is devastated to be re-homing him due to the young  daughter's allergies. We don't know what his life was like for the  first 8 years, but for the past 3, he has known only love, intense  snuggle sessions, and being spoiled rotten.  We want so much for him  to live out his days this way!  Will he find his forever cuddle-buddy  in you?
