We all know that great things come in fives. Fingers, senses, oceans, Spice Girls. May we also suggest puppies? Like the Spice Girls, our 5 were found abandoned on the side of the road. Unlike the Spice Girls, our puppies have been dewormed and vaccinated. The Spice Girls also had a movie, so as a tribute to one of the best films in cinema history, we decided to name this group Fast Five.
These 11 week old puppies are likely 100% mutt, but if forced to guess, maybe shepherd mixes. Based on their current weights, we think that they will be 40-50 pounds fully grown.
Holt is a little bit quirky and she loves watching TV and lounging. She also enjoys being a part of family life, especially if that includes pruning the garden. Rosa is strong-willed and independent as well as wicked smart. She is playful and food motivated and a great listener. Nibs, like Dom Toretto, never stops moving. She is either chasing bugs, tackling her litter mates or learning new tricks. If she had thumbs, we're sure she'd great at racing cars. Millie is a cuddlebug and just wants attention at all times. She is gentle and sweet and loves any praise she's given. Dwight is the only boy of the group, but he's really an old man in a puppy body. He grunts and groans but is a gentle soul and is the quickest learner.
All puppies need vaccines every 3 weeks until they are 16 weeks old. They should not go to high traffic areas until that age. All puppies also need ongoing training, so potential adopters should be prepared for puppy kindergarten and obedience classes.
The adoption fee for each puppy is $600, $200 of which is refundable upon proof of neutering at 6 months old. The pups are all microchipped and current on their flea and heartworm preventions.
