Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet MIA !
Mia is about 2 years old and an Australian Shepherd or English Shepherd mix. 2 vets mentioned the English Shepherd so who knows?
What we do know is that she is perfect. Absolutely perfect. She loves everyone she meets including all kinds of dogs and children. She is perfect in her crate all night and when I'm away. She loves hanging out in the backyard with her friends and does not challenge the fence. She hasn't had much practice walking on leash, but tries hard to be polite. She likes to play fetch and loves belly rubs more than anything.
She would do well with a family with polite kids over 5. She would love a doggie friend too, but might thrive and really bind with an active single person.
Mia is still undergoing heartworm treatment.
Please come and meet Mia before her foster home gets any more attached to her!
Mia is fostered in NC
