Sweet little man Hughie continues to progress daily in his foster home, but needs a family of his very own. Hughie is a gentle soul that adores other cats, and will in fact need a patient and loving kitty sibling needing a buddy. Hughie follows the cues of the more experienced kitties in the house, and continues to mimic their behaviors which is important to his continuing socialization.

Hughie enjoys long pets when you’re able, and doesn’t mind sitting in your lap once you’ve got him. On the other hand he’s not a big fan of the size 13 feet clomping around and will run for cover! Hughie is “tent trained” and knows that’s where he is fed, and where he sleeps overnight, but he’s quite vocal when wanting to remind you that it’s time for him to stretch his legs outside the tent; also when it’s time for his meals!

Hughie is truly a sweet boy that needs the cat loving, cat understanding, and patient furever family wanting his furever love. It took Hughie since June 25th to settle in this far in foster, and will take another several weeks, or even slightly longer, to settle into a new home and family routine once again. Don’t let that deter you though; Hughie is just a baby and you will have many MANY happy years with this sweet and silly boy! Take the chance and change his life, and yours, for the better!
