Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Atlanta, GA
Knox is a 1 y/o male Siberian Husky/Australian Cattle Dog mix (confirmed via Embark DNA test) with the sweetest personality. He is on the smaller side weighing only 42 lbs. but is full of love! See that twinkle in his eye? It's not from the lighting! Knox has a blue speck in one eye and we think his features are just stunning! He is very dog and child friendly - and is cat and bird excitable! There isn’t an aggressive bone in his little body - but he does enjoy a good chase with a cat that can run fast - and you better hold on tight to that leash if he sees a bird!
For a husky mix, Knox surprisingly doesn’t shed very much! He has a playful and calm demeanor for only being a year old and is rarely vocal. Knox is also house trained - but he doesn't love to be crated, which we are still working on. While he has mastered "sit", he is still learning commands like stay and lay down - but he is very treat motivated!
It's important to note that Knox is a velcro dog who doesn’t necessarily enjoy being alone but he would thrive at a puppy daycare, attending work with his human or staying at home with a WFH human or SAHM! He absolutely loves going to run at Fetch Park Buckhead and socializing with dogs and humans of all ages and sizes! With consistent exercise, and enough time to adjust - we believe he would eventually do great at home by himself as he grows older.
Knox is up to date on all his vaccines (including boosters), HW negative and microchipped. He will also be adopted out with a Fi Series 2 GPS Tracker Smart Dog Collar (with a 1 year subscription) to ensure his safety as he transitions into his new home.

Our mission is to rescue and rehome animals that are in abusive, neglectful or endangering situations, which includes traditional or open admission shelters, strays, owner surrenders and puppy mills. Adoptions are not based on a first come first serve basis. The individual(s) selected will be chosen based on the needs of each individual dog.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (including leptospirosis and canine influenza).
Additionally, each adopted dog will be sent home with a new Fi Series 2 GPS Tracker Smart Dog Collar (with a 1 year subscription), a copy of The Forever Dog by Rodney Habib and Dr. Karen Becker and a complimentary dog blanket.
