My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nero “Chonks” – The Gentle, Easygoing Boy Who Loves Belly Rubs and Sunbathing

Meet Nero, affectionately known as Chonks, the sweet and easygoing boy who’s always up for a good belly rub, a cozy nap, or lounging in the sun on the enclosed patio. Nero is the definition of chill—whether he’s sprawled out on a comfy cushion, soaking up the warmth of the sun, or just enjoying some quiet time with his favorite humans. He loves to relax and enjoy life, and his laid-back personality makes him an ideal companion for a home that values snuggles and downtime.

But don’t let his calm demeanor fool you—Nero has a voice and he’s not afraid to use it! He communicates with his humans in the most charming way, especially when something’s not to his liking (like closed doors, for example). His soft vocalizations are his way of letting you know he’s got a thought or two on the matter, and once you’ve responded, he’s back to being his relaxed self.

Nero is also very social and would thrive in a home with another kitten or cat to keep him company. He loves the interaction and companionship of fellow felines, and he’ll likely form strong bonds with a playful buddy. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate cat who knows how to kick back and enjoy life, Nero is your guy!

Nero’s journey began when his foster mom adopted a stray who, a short time later, gave birth to five adorable kittens. Nero and his siblings were raised with lots of love and attention, ensuring they grew up to be well-adjusted, friendly kittens. Now fully weaned and socialized, Nero is ready to find his forever home where he can continue to enjoy his peaceful life of sunbathing, belly rubs, and occasional vocal complaints (because, hey, we all need to be heard!).

If you’re ready for a sweet, easygoing companion who will shower you with affection and love, Nero “Chonks” is ready to join your family!
