AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Ruby is a sweet 7 year old female who was abandoned by her owner. Fortunately, a kind couple took her in but had no idea how to care for a bulldog. At the time of rescue Ruby had a raging ear infection with a hematoma. She is UTD on shots and has been spayed. The ear hematoma has been drained, she is receiving oral antibiotics and ear ointment. Ruby's ear infection is most likely a result of grain allergy. She is doing much better on grain free food. At the time of spay, Ruby was noted to have a very small trachea and palate issues. She will be evaluated for possible palate surgery in the future, if she is a candidate based on her age . She doesn't snore!! :)
Ruby is otherwise, very active and curious. She has been on activity restriction after all her surgery but seems to not have problems with other dogs she's come in contact with.
She is a striking red and white with beautiful soft fur.
Update: Ruby is scheduled for palate surgery on August 10th.
