My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Fletcher! I’m a 7 year old male red tri Australian Shepherd. Neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and I weigh 65lbs. My foster mama says I’m as good as they come. I’m thoroughly trained in all basic commands, and then some. I aim to please! I love when we have company at the house and warm up quickly to anyone willing to offer some butt scratches.

I get told I’m a good boy a lot, that is, when I’m not being called a Barky McBarkerson. The humans say it’s annoying and loud… I’m just protecting the house but whatever I’ll stop if you ask me to.

I'm good with both male and female dogs of all sizes
I'm indifferent about cats once I meet them
I have only been tested with older kids

A home with his own fenced yard is preferred but he could be okay in an apartment as long as he was walked and exercised regularly. However, keep in mind that he does like to bark so that could be a problem in an apartment.

In addition to the adoption fee there is a $20 microchip fee which covers the registration and transfer of ownership upon adoption.

All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
