My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gypsy she is such a cutie. She loves to hang out with her other white and black kitty friends Tusk and Songbird as shown in the pictures. These three kitties always stick together. They tell each other secrets, especially Gypsy, she's the gossipy one! She especially likes to hang out with her brother Tusk as sometimes three is a crowd. She also plays with her mom Stevie Nicks and other siblings Dream and Gold Dusk. The whole family is super sweet and lovebugs.
Gypsy is a little beauty, she’s a sweet little girl but can keep up with the boys at playtime. They all love the wands with strings hanging or don’t really need toys at all, they play together and make up games.
If you would like to meet Gypsy or any of her other Fleetwood Mac siblings please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
