Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Iris!
This hysterical little spitfire is Iris. At around 10-12 months old and 13 lbs she is mostly full grown and we don't expect she will get much bigger. She may be some sort of chihuahua/small terrier type mix. Regardless of her genetics there are some things we definitely know about Iris:
- she is down for any party. If there is fun to be had she wants to be in the middle of it
- although small in stature she is big in personality and has never met a stranger. She considers everyone a friend
- Iris would benefit from a family prepared to work on training with her, particularly not jumping on people and leash manners. She would *love* to attend puppy classes
- Iris loves other dogs as much as she loves people. She is silly and playful, although she may not understand the cues when another dog doesn't want to play.
Iris is used to sleeping in a crate and is working on housebreaking, but any adopter should expect this to be ongoing work.
Iris is spayed, vaccinated and will be microchipped prior to adoption. She is heartworm negative and up to date on preventatives.
