Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**** COMING SOON ****
Meet Reese! And let me tell you,... she is as "SWEET" as her name. We call her Reeseepup!
Reese is an almost 15 month old red tri female with the prettiest eyes. 1 of blue, and 1 golden with a dot of blue. She is a small standard aussie at around 37 lbs.
Although Reese had a shortened puppyhood by becoming a momma very young, she is still very much a puppy herself, and is the cutest ever!!! This sweetie pie has bunches of energy and demands your attention when she wants a belly rub. She loves to chew on toys and un-stuff the soft ones. But her favorite activity is to RUN. She needs a buddy to chase her and be chased by her, and needs plenty of room to stretch her legs! A fenced in area to keep her safe during her sprinting is a must. This girl is very inquisitive and you will see her paying close attention to things you and the rest of the pack are doing. Because of this, I believe that once she settles in, she will be so very easy to train. She follows flying insects (fireflies, moths, butterflies), and will sometimes pounce on them. She is very gentle when she takes her treats and enjoys being brushed.
Reese was surrendered from a back yard breeder because the kids were highly allergic. She was found to have Lyme's disease and is currently taking an antibiotic. She is scheduled to get up to date with her vaccines and to be spayed in the near future.
Reese is house broken, although, she isn't good at letting you know when she has to go if she is playing and has had a couple accidents, but she does great in her crate. We are working on leash training and basic commands. She wasn't taught many manners before coming to ASF, but her loving personality, and zest for life, and all it has to give, will make you fall in love with her.
She was in a home with kids, but I have not seen her interact with children or cats. Due to her small size and gentle nature, I would imagine dog savvy cats, and kids 6 and up would be fine. She has nipped and jumps when excited or wanting attention.
Reese is an amazing little girl,... full of love and energy. Her future family will be so lucky to make her a part of their pack! She is being fostered in North Eastern, MD
