Maverick is the best of both worlds! He is a one year old dog with puppy antics, but is housebroken and crate trained! All the fun with less the work! Maverick is a constant source of fun and amusement. (See the picture of him bringing me the potted plant so I can finish my gardening.) Maverick is very smart! He loves playing indoors and out with his foster siblings. He is affectionate and loves getting praise and scratches.
Maverick is trained to a doggy door and is faithful in using it. He willingly enters his crate with a treat and settles right down. He is content in his crate when you leave the house and will sleep in it all night, but he doesn't need to. He settles all night on a dog bed in his foster mom's bedroom.
Maverick is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. He is also micro chipped.
Maverick is accustomed to a fenced backyard and would really like to have the same in his new home, but if someone were active and walked Maverick and played with him, he might be fine without a fenced yard. Maverick is not an outside dog since he loves to be with his people.
