My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vail – At an early age, Vail and two other kittens were rescued from a shelter that was out of space. Because they were so young, they were placed in an ARC foster home. There they received special attention and loving care until they became old enough to go to ARC and have a chance to find a loving, forever home. Today, they are well adjusted, happy kitties looking for someone to love them forever!

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to come meet Vail and see for yourself what a great kitty she is!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
