My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clancy is a handsome fellow born in June of 2022. He weighs about 50 lbs and is very athletic. He likes to run and play and gets along with many dogs. He can be easily intimidated by new people and will cower when approached. But as soon as he knows you aren't going to hurt him, he is friendly and affectionate. He gets very excited when he is with someone he likes. Clancy is very loyal and eager to be with his person as much as possible. He's enthusiastic about going for long walks and would enjoy having a place where he can run and play. Clancy will make a wonderful loyal companion for some lucky person or family. Welcome him into your home and your heart.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
