My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Thomas! I am 2 to 3 years old and I weigh between 20 and 25 pounds. I am only 19 inches tall at the shoulder. I am still with my owner in Hamptonville, North Carolina. I am in danger of going to a high kill shelter because my owner has to many dogs. The rescue doesn’t have any foster space and is trying to help me find a new home. I am a very sweet, loving boy. I get along well with other dogs of all ages and sizes, and cats. I am also good with children. I love being with people and snuggling. I also like to play with them as well as with my toys and other dogs. In the video, this is my first time on a leash, so I’m a little unsure as to what is expected of me. I did walk on the leash with my owner once that terrible camera was off of me. I have a medium energy level. I am well behaved in the house and do not chew or destroy anything. I am not yappy and I have a medium energy level. I am very good-natured and have a happy personality, The other dog in the video, Blue, is in the same danger as I am. She is also around 2 to 3 years old and weighs approximately 35 pounds. She will have her video and pictures posted next month after her puppy milk dries up. She had puppies about seven weeks ago that have already gone to rescue. She is available for adoption now though. She’s a very sweet, laid-back girl with a wonderful disposition. Neither of us have been sterilized, but there are spay and neuter vouchers available for around $100. The adoption fee covers the cost of going to the vet for an exam, updated vaccines, and a heartworm test before going to a new home.

Email is the best method of contact. Applications can be found on the rescue website Carolinacaninerescuenc.com. If your application is approved, you will be given the phone number to the owner to learn more about Thomas before making an adoption decision.
